Lead product quality and reliability for complex, high-performance engineering systems
Our client is an engineering company based in French-speaking Switzerland specializing in the design and development of complex custom-design machines operating in demanding environments. Its machines are developed to meet highly specific customer requirements in technically advanced sectors such as Space, Energy or Transport. Our client delivers high-value systems where performance, compliance and robustness are critical. To strengthen its quality organization, we are looking for a senior professional ready to combine team leadership, technical expertise, and cross-functional coordination.
Head of Product Quality & Reliability
Reporting directly to the Business Unit Manager, you play a key part in securing the reliability, compliance, and industrial performance of highly complex engineered systems. Your work directly contributes to product integrity, customer confidence and success of technically demanding projects.
You lead a small team of quality engineers and ensure product conformity with customer specifications and regulatory requirements throughout the full project lifecycle. Beyond team management, you structure and drive quality activities within your scope and contribute to building a strong culture of anticipation, prevention, and continuous improvement.

Main responsabilities
- Manage and lead the activities of a small team of quality engineers
- Ensure product compliance and conformity with customer specifications at all stages of the project, from development to manufacturing, testing, and commissioning.
- Oversee product assurance, risk management, and safety-related quality activities
- Manage control plans, production quality monitoring, non-conformities, and root cause analysis
- Act as the main quality interface toward customers and coordinate cross-functional quality topics
- Contribute to process capability, performance indicators, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support internal compliance and certified management systems in a regulated context
Your profile
- Engineering degree with extended experience in complex industrial environment
- Proven experience in a similar role with team leadership skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders
- Solutions driven, dynamic, high autonomy and well structured
- Good command of MS Office and ERP systems
- Fluency in French and in English
