Supply Chain Manager

In this key position, you will lead freight management projects for the Swiss group.
 
Your tasks
  • Designing, reviewing and optimising logistics processes for the cost-efficient delivery of goods
  • Strategic purchasing of comprehensive logistics services, from volume calculation to tendering and contract signing for sea, air and land freight (with focus on sea freight)
  • Analysing tasks and data, developing scenarios, executing simulations and preparing  forecasts / key performance indicators (KPIs) for planning and control purposes
  • Implementing best practice tools to react quickly and efficiently to market changes
  • Ensuring efficient claim management (e.g. transport damage) in terms of communication, decision-making and processes
  • Leading or participating in group-wide projects to optimise logistics processes
 
 Your profile
  • Several years of experience and in-depth expertise in logistics with various types of freight by land, sea and air
  • Solid degree in freight forwarding, supply chain management, business administration or similar
  • Proven know-how in project management
  • Experience in process design involving IT systems
  • You enjoy working in cross-departmental, intercultural teams; you are open, with good communication skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • You are open to 10–20 % travel
