Principle Device Engineer and Project Manager Chip Design

Tasks

• Meet with the development team to discuss product ideas
• Lead technical expert for the development of our future generation of silicon IGBTs and diodes with an external manufacturing service (EMS)
• TCAD simulations (both device and process) to develop leading-edge IGBT designs and enable easy implementation at the manufacturing facility
• Project leader of corresponding development projects
• Contribute to technology roadmap for main market segments
• Manage and coordinate external manufacturing services
• Responsibility for change management execution
• Determine product feasibility costs and return on investments
• Develop design ideas based on customer interests, budgets and market research

Your profile

• You have a master in a relevant field of physics or electrical engineering and more than five years of experience in a research and development environment, ideally in power devices
• Strong background in TCAD simulations
• You are recognised as expert on semiconductor technologies and designs
• You have a strong network in the semiconductor community and have a vision of future trends
• As a strong self-driven team player, you strive to share your know-how, challenge the status quo and create added value for the company
• Strong project management background and hands-on experience
• English is a must; any other language is considered a plus
