Principal Engineer Microtechnology & Precision Engineering

This innovative team develops miniaturised products for a wide range of applications in the medical sector and other high-tech industries.

Main responsibilities

• Primary contribution to the design, realisation and testing of precision mechanisms, microfabrication methods and systems, as well as electromechanical actuators in various development projects for your clients
• Technical and organisational project management and bridging different engineering disciplines
• Close collaboration with clients from various industries, as well as interdisciplinary teams dealing with cutting-edge technologies
• You provide less-experienced colleagues with relevant know-how and support their further development

We are looking for a dynamic individual with a sound education and relevant experience who faces demanding technical challenges with curiosity and creativity.

Your profile

• Several years of experience in dimensioning, building and testing miniaturised mechanical systems
• Extensive knowledge of microtechnical manufacturing and production technologies
• Good comprehension of interdisciplinary systems and tasks
• Independent, structured and target-oriented working style
• Good language skills in English; German would be an advantage
• Experience in developing medical devices and corresponding knowledge of relevant requirements are an additional asset
