Manager IT Project Management Office

Main responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the global PMO team, ensure the effective execution of IT projects
  • Define, develop and implement the project management methods, processes and standards, become the Centre of Excellence within the global organization
  • Overview the lifecycle of ongoing projects, i.e. planning, coordinating and monitoring, resource and time management, budgeting and risk management
  • Collaborate with your internal and external stakeholders, liaise with divisions, understand project requirements and business needs in order to ensure fulfillment
  • Define and establish cross-divisional best practice methods and processes
  • Design handbooks, templates and KPI’s and implement accordingly
  • Establish and promote the team in terms of best practice, performance and people leadership behaviour
  • Regular reporting to senior management

Your profile

  • Sound education and relevant experience in project management
  • Designated and convincing leadership and also hands-on personality with good social skills and a track record in leading cross-functional teams
  • Experience in building up and leading a PMO in an international environment
  • Strong methodical, conceptual and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English
