Field Service Technician, CNC machine-tools
In this exciting and polyvalent position, you will be part of the Laser department team, collaborating closely with the Technicians Manager, the laser R&D team and laser sales team and with customers. After an intensive training period at the factory, you play a pivotal role in the commercial success of laser machines ensuring pre-sales and after-sales technical activities with customers.Main tasks
- Collaborate with the R&D team and sales team to conduct technical tests for internal projects or customer projects on laser machines
- In collaboration with the sales engineer, prepare and proceed to demonstration tests during customers visits at the factory
- Support existing or future customers on technical aspects related to laser machines
- Install laser machines on customer’s sites mainly in Germany, ensure training of users, maintenance and after-sales services
- Technical diploma or equivalent in Polymechanics, Automation, Electromechanics or Micromechanics
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in an equivalent position.
- Good background in CNC machine-tools ; background on laser technology is a plus
- Customer oriented, good communication skills, high autonomy, flexible and responsible
- Willingness to travel, mainly to Germany (about 50%)
- Valid driving licence
- Fluent in German; good knowledge in French and/or in English
