Our client, Zaphiro Technologies SA, is an ambitious start-up company active in the field of smart grids. Zaphiro recently closed a significant funding round with a strategic investor to accelerate the growth of the business internationally. The company has developed a proprietary hardware and software solution, SynchroGuard, offering an innovative monitoring and automation system for electrical distribution grids. It provides instant visibility into distribution grid performance, helps integrate more renewables and EVs, and, thanks to unique fault location algorithms, reduces the impact of blackouts. Sales Manager Switzerland - Smart Grid

Main responsibilities
  • Acquire new clients and grow existing ones
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact
  • Co-develop and lead sales processes such as targeting, forecasting, pipeline management, opportunity qualification, bid reviews
  • Contribute to the development of marketing materials
  • Identify, establish and grow commercial partnerships
  • Support ongoing product development through regular customer feedback
Your profile
  • Engineering degree in electricity or equivalent experience
  • Good understanding of low and medium voltage electricity distribution, its main challenges and opportunities for smart grids
  • Experience in selling complex IoT or smart grid solutions to electrical utilities
  • Experience in B2B sales of innovative/digital technologies and solutions
  • Experience with public ordering and tendering processes
  • Established relationships with major Swiss utilities
  • Excellent networking, communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in German, good knowledge of English, French not required but would be a plus
