Our client, a start-up on the cutting edge of 3D printing, is developing and marketing a new generation of volumetric 3D printers. It can produce objects in less than 30 seconds using a completely new process that replaces the traditional layer-by-layer approach in a wide range of applications. Currently, this start-up is very well received in the biological research laboratory market for the fabrication of biological structures and has promising growth prospects in Asia and the USA with innovative and very competitive applications. To support its evolution in the biofabrication market initially, and then in the more general volumetric 3D printing market, it wishes to acquire an efficient commercial structure and to continue the implementation of commercial networks that match the potential of this innovative technology. Business Development Manager

This very interesting and forward-looking position will allow you to participate in the growth of a leading company and to be a key player in its evolution. You will also participate in the results of this promising company and work closely with the CEO.

Main responsibilities
  • Manage all sales of the company at the international level
  • Contribute personally to the growth by contacting key customers worldwide
  • Ensure growth of turnover and maintaining the company's margins
  • Establish an effective sales organization and smart sales processes on an international level
  • Set up and manage distribution networks with the US and Asia
  • Identify and develop new applications for volumetric 3D printing in relation to the pharmaceutical and medical device markets, as well as new emerging markets 
  • Act on the product management level of products according to the evolution of the markets
  • Participate in the training and development of the company's sales and marketing function
  • You will design the philosophy and principles of the client application notes
Your profile
  • You are an international Business Development Manager who knows how to convince, make people adhere to your solutions and lead a negotiation to its closing
  • You have sales background and track record in biology, medical devices, or life sciences
  • You are willing to travel to customers, exhibitions and trade shows to make our brand known
  • You have already been successful in the sale of laboratory or medical technology equipment’s
  • You are as comfortable working in a multinational company as in an SME
  • You have already successfully set up an international distribution network in the medical device market
  • You are familiar with GMP and the regulatory aspects of the pharmaceutical and medical world
  • You are result-oriented and you are a positive person
  • You know how to make people grow around you
  • And you are fluent in English and if possible, in French, other languages being a plus
