Project Manager Steam/Gas Turbines
The Project Manager will be responsible for timely delivery of contractual scope within budgeted costs. This position includes responsibility over all commercial, contractual, and technical aspects of the project, as well as coordination of all activities related to planning, design, assembly, test, shipment and commissioning of projects. Further main tasks are to ensure, that contracts are carried out on time, to specify and to budget by using good project management practices. Additionally you will be assigned for purchasing in cooperation and for supply chain management, quality assurance, cost control, reports, project closure, delivery and performances of the integrated deliverables from the various internal units, working on the contract and ensuring customer satisfaction.
We are looking for a practice-oriented personality with several years of work experience as project manager within the field of power plant, power generation, boiler, steam/gas turbine or offshore industry. Our ideal candidate has a degree in advanced engineering, mechanical or electrical engineering with an emphasis on interpersonal skills. Your proven track record in project management, target cost accounting, customer relationship and quality management allows you to implement optimal solutions. In addition to your analytical and organisational abilities, you are a convincing communicator. You think strategically and act independently. You are customer- and service-oriented; motivate staff with a supportive style of leadership and combine innovation with service-mentality. Ideally you are willing to travel worldwide, and it is also essential to communicate fluently in English. Any further language knowledge is and advantage.
