Design, development and maintenance of real time softwares
Our client is an international company active in one of the fastest growing industries - the automation industry. Its main activities are to design, manufacture and market products and services with strong brand names, proprietary technologies and major market positions. Its speciality is the electronic motion control which brings quantum leaps in precision to applications like robots, wheelchairs, lift trucks and packaging machines. To strengthen its team located in the Lausanne area, we are actually looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer.
Senior Software Engineer
He will participate and lead design, development and maintenance of real time softwares on RTOS environments and HW
platforms (CPU, DSP, PPC) for motion systems. As part of a team oriented to innovations, he will manage the
architecture reviews, the implementation, the code reviews, the product integration and stabilization. The candidate will
have the opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary team on technical aspects acting closely with the Team Leader and Project
Manager. The chosen candidate will have the chance to evolve in an international and dynamic environment.
After an education in the software engineering (HES or EPF), you have a successful experience in industrial software
development, especially in real time and embedded programming. Excellent in C++, you have an excellent knowledge of
communication protocols (such as TCP/IP). Result oriented and able to prioritize in complex technical projects, you have
a strong customer approach. Fluent in English and French, you have the ability to communicate at all levels of the
hierarchy.
