Head of Communications

Your main responsibilities will be to

• Drive professionaly and enthusiastically the processes of PR and Corporate Communications
• Adapt communication tools to address different cultural environments
• Take an active role in developing and providing a comprehensive Media Plan along the target references
• Write press releases and maintain a broad national and international network
• Initiate the internal marketing communication activities
• Manage print and corporate publishing materieal (conception, realization and supervision of both print and online products)
• Improve Event Management and implement new ideas for its locations and programs
• Coordinate and cooperate with local partners, consultants and a pool of assistants in Switzerland including Geneva as well as in different countries - e.g. Belgium, Australia and Singapore
• Suggest specific recommendations for improvement of PR and corporate communications

Your qualifications and experience:

• Bachelors degree in Communication and/or similar of a well-known University
• At least 5 years of expreience in Public Relations and within Corporate and Marketing Communications of a major company
• Strong network within the Public Relations community of Switzerland
• Several years of experience in either a consulting or an industrial environment
• Willingness to travel up to 30% (but no longer than 10 days in a row)
• Very good command (spoken and written) in English, French and German
• Energetic, commited and open minded personality with high ability to work effectively in a team
• Problem-solving talents, result orientation and leadership skills are important
